The Airship event was a Success!

Our sincere thanks go out to everyone who turned up for Chapter 2: The Airship at McKibbins Pub in Montreal. It was a very entertaining Sunday afternoon, everyone looked steamy, and murder most foul has never been so much fun.

Check out some of the photos in Media > Chapter 2 (Montreal 2013).

The Wall Cloud: Adventure in luxury

Capt. Arcturus Cobalt

Capt. Arcturus Cobalt

This February, the Airship The Wall Cloud will depart Bromley’s End on February 24th, 1898 and head to New York City in time to arrive for the opening ceremonies of the International Science Exhibition in New York on the evening of Tuesday, February 26th, 1898.

The Wall Cloud  was retired from active service in the Royal Air Force in 1885 at the end of the third Anglo-Burmese war.  It was purchased by Captain Arcturus Cobalt, who holds the Inconspicuous Gallantry Cross for his service in the Royal Air Force.  He has since made a name for himself piloting The Wall Cloud in the most remote locations for Mr. Aubrey Blythe, Explorer-in-Residence at King George Science College in Bromley’s End, England.  The airship is a stately and swift vessel which has been converted from its military capacities to accommodate passengers with every comfort.  She can house up to forty-four passengers in luxuriously appointed first class cabins finished in the Empire style.  An on-board telephone system provides for the most modern and convenient communications throughout the ship.  The grand common room is suitable for hosting cocktails parties, dances, dinners and diverse other events.  Guests may also avail themselves of the well-supplied lending library, modern exercise facilities, a turkish bath, à la carte dining, and a french café.

The Wall Cloud is manned by twenty crew members, many of whom served with the Royal Air Force.  Both the ship and her crew have an exemplary flight record.  To book passage for New York aboard The Wall Cloud simply consult the list of expected attendees and then send us a message by  steam-powered courier pigeon.
